TRACE

Every movement leaves a trace. Every sound creates an echo, every image leaves an impression, and every interaction creates a memory. TRACE explores the invisible marks we leave behind through light, movement and perception, using long-exposure photography, translucent materials and light to turn fleeting moments into something you can see.

The space

The exhibition takes place at the esc medien kunst labor in Graz: one open hall behind a large shop window, so the show is seen from the street as much as from inside.

Traces from the outside

Translucent screens and backlit figures turn the window into the first poster. From the street you only see shadows moving inside, traces of the people visiting.

Different zones

Inside, coloured light divides the hall into zones for each discipline, so visitors move from one atmosphere into the next.
